About This Game Grab the Bottle is a quirky puzzle game in which you solve puzzles by stretching your arm through the level. You need to maneuver an ever-extending arm to grab the goal bottle, avoiding anything hazardous on the way. To make things more tricky, Grab the Bottle brings physics and puzzles to the mix. You must grab, pull and drop objects to get to the goal bottle. On the way you will find different kinds of obstacles that need to be dealt with. The story of the game begins in the 50s, somewhere in rural America, where one particularly strong minded baby is taking his first steps and discovers that anything is possible. Only problem I've come across is at times after pausing and returning to game, the hand you control will get locked in a fail animation and no viable option other than to close application and restart.. With this in mind, I started playing Grab the Bottle and after the introduction levels I was positively surprised. Each level provides you with new challenges, making you progress either with trial and error or carefully planning your way to the finish line. No matter what's your approach, it takes some time to solve each puzzle and it really feels good when you get them done.The visual style of Grab the Bottle is strongly influenced by the 50s comics and posters and truly, most of the time playing this game I feel like browsing a MAD magazine. The sound design and music go well along with the visuals, although at some point one of the music tracks got a little repetitive.I found myself a little disappointed because this game doesn't have a grading system to tell you how well you did each level. I would really like a timer or an indicator for how long I had to stretch my arm to get to the bottle. This would give the player more sense of accoplishment and add more replay value for the levels.When it comes to early access, the game seems to work just fine. I found some bugs when I really, really tried and reported them to the developers. But hey, that's what early access is for!Overall, Grab the Bottle is an original, fun and challenging puzzle game with a little flaws here and there. I am looking forward to more content being added!. Very hardcore game to pass level 1, it takes about 1 hour. But overall the game is fun and cool. grab the Bottle. In short, the name of the game kind of tells you about the gameplay. Sounds easy? It isn’t! In this game you control a hand with a looooong arm. The controls are easy, moving left and right, grabbing and speed up. But what seems easy on the first look is more than hard on the second. You have to grab a bottle each level, but there are different obstacles and other items you have to get first before you have access to the bottle. If you hit the wall, solid objects or even your arm while maneuvering around your hand begins to hurt, if you hit something once more you have to start the level from the beginning.I like the idea of the game. Each level is a photo in a photo album and you begin back when you were a baby, grabbing a milk bottle. As you become older your hand grows (what makes it harder not to hit something) and you prefer other drinks. Currently the game ends when you are still a boy. So we can await much more content and levels. The developer will soon add a multiplayer mode and more single player levels (teen, young adult, middle-aged and senior). The music is also okey, it doesn’t distract you from concentrating and thinking how to solve that one far too difficult level. Some of them are really difficult and I was sitting there, thinking, getting frustrated because nothing works, tried different ways, over and over again. (at one moment I even tried to find a walkthrough, but aren’t any!) But in the end I managed to solve all of them somehow. Though I think that sometimes I did not do it as it was intended. I even managed to win that crazy level in the end (I began to think, that this was a joke and I’d never win it). This game has no achievements yet (they will add them soon), but the end of each level felt like an achievement already! There is only one thing in the end. The scene in the last level moves (trees, background) but the “comic-dots” don’t, this could lead to dizziness (I had to rest a bit before making more attempts). Positive: + nice idea with the stretching arms + photo album and comic style + very challenging + controller support + soon there will be more levels and multiplayer + soon there will be achievements and trading cards Negative: - last level caused dizziness - there could be more level (but they will be added soon) So all in all this is a really nice and challenging game and if you like to solve puzzles and have some spare time I’d definitely recommend this to you. And as soon as they add multiplayer, more levels and achievements this game will become even better! 8/10 Fingers broken while grabbing the bottle!. This was certainly something different. I cannot really compare to any other game, but it is a very cool puzzle game. Maybe a bit of Snake here? First levels were kinda easy and it took a bit to get things rolling, but after that puzzles were very interesting and tricky to solve. Well worth the price of 6.49 I paid for it in sale.The tutorials at the beginning could be bit better though and pause menu could use some work.8.5\/10
