Exanima Download Setup

About This Game Explore, fight, survive and unravel mysteries in this unique and unforgiving 3D isometric RPG set in an original dark, low fantasy world. Exanima's exceptional attention to detail and realistic simulation of all things aim to provide a deeply immersive and dynamic gameplay experience. Features include a deep skill based combat system, complex and smart AI, fully interactive environments, an advanced damage model with accurate collisions and locational protection, roguelike elements and an arena mode to hone your combat skills."Those who would enter the underworld shall not only forfeit their lives......but bring oblivion to all mankind."WARNING: THIS GAME IS ACTUALLY DIFFERENT!This game features a very deep, truly physics based combat system. This is not just some animation feature, it is a fundamental difference that is central to gameplay. Real momentum, forces and collisions are always at play here, every nuance of your inputs is crucial to the outcome. This will likely be unlike anything you've played before and may take some practice, but can be hugely rewarding and the skill cap is virtually infinite. It is not particularly fast paced or difficult but it does require you to pay attention, it is very tactical and just casually pressing buttons won't get you very far!Our goal is to create a deep and immersive RPG world based on a more advanced simulation supporting an unprecedented level of dynamic and emergent gameplay. All of the technology we use including the game engine is our own, developed from the ground up to realise this vision.Exanima is born as a prelude to Sui Generis (SG), our ambitious open world RPG that has been in development for over two years following a successful Kickstarter campaign. Exanima is a smaller yet complete game in its own right, a dungeon crawler that takes place in SG's Underworld some twenty years prior to its events. Both games are being developed in concert, many of SG's more ambitious features will make an appearance in Exanima as development continues.Exanima provides a reasonably complete and meaningful game experience, but many more features are on their way! We have met our most challenging and significant development goals, now we are ready to bring new features to light and make an even more fun and compelling adventure. Here are some of the planned features, with many already being close to completion:Per session and global character skill progressionLarge non-linear main game following early contentBuild and permanently save characters by completing early contentNew encounters, items and environmentsRanged combat and new close quarter manoeuvresNumerous moddable thaumaturgic powers More complete arena game modes featuring outdoor arenasComplex NPC interactions and dialogueCooperative and competitive LAN multiplayer 7aa9394dea Title: ExanimaGenre: Action, Adventure, Indie, RPG, Simulation, Early AccessDeveloper:Bare Mettle EntertainmentPublisher:Bare Mettle EntertainmentRelease Date: 29 Apr, 2015 Exanima Download Setup I really wanted to like this game and everything is great besides the most important aspect in my opinion.Controls. I've read a lot of reviews about it, saying stick with it.But In my own experience, the controls are the only hurdle in this game, and I'm left questioning "why?"Its a very basic layout but seems that it was made purposely difficult. People seem to associate this difficult control layout with the insanely fluid physics, like one couldn't exist without the other, quite honestly I see it as the only real roadblock for this game.Examina wants to make one on one combat tactical and challenging but making the character harder to control is not the way to go, at least not for me.Like so many reviews, I wish there was a 'mixed' review button. Besides the controls, I couldn't find an issue with the game and if that is not an issue for you then I suggest you try it.. UUUUEH- Your victims. Combat - fun as the mechanic is simple to play with but difficult to master. Dungeon exploration - total♥♥♥♥♥as it pits you in samey looking environments without giving you a map or some sort of breadcrumb system so hours will be spent going in circles until some random goon knock you out.has tons of promise as the devs aren't dead yet and haven't abandoned the game as of writing this review.7/10 map system when devs?. Dont get deceived by reviews that complain about combat - some people just have no patience and will dislike anything new that is challenging for them. How dare you create a game where mashing left mouse button doesnt yield victory! Also, no, the devs are working on this jewel all the time. Yes, it is sluggish but ultimately bountiful and the community is always happy regardless of the amount content released. I might grow old before it is done, but I know the wait is worth.. Absolutely amazing game.Played every version so far since the beginning.Unfortunately, the cleaver is still OP as all hell. You almost don't even have to attack, just get close enough lol.It makes the same impact damage as an actul blunt 1h weapon. (I don't care what your numbers say, in game this is what happens)Also, I don't know what you changed in the last big update regarding combat but now if a bot hits your block hard enough( without it ever reaching your head ), you will still get bloodied on the head and get huge red damage. This happened in the arena a few times and it made me wanna toss my PC out the window(because it died due to this ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥t).The dumbass staff also has more range then what is actually displayed on the screen. Getting clipped on the head when the guy should be half a meter too far is just unfair.Apart form that, you guys keep improving every aspect of the game with every patch.. Man can the game be hard to begin with. But if you stick with it, you'll find an extremely satisfying and fun game. The story mode was much larger than I even imagined, and am still not done with it. Furthermore, the arena is really awesome except for the inventory system, which is quite lacking.. Exanima is super cool. Which makes it all the more tragic i can't recommend it because the developers can take nearly an entire year to release a teeny tiny update with extremely few changes. At this rate Mount & Blade 2: Bannerlord will release before Exanima reaches 1.0 and full release.. There's really nothing else like it. 10/10.. Amnesia: prepare to die edition/Dark Souls: the dark descent. One of a kind indeed! Some of the best and most satisfying melee combat in gaming. Takes a while to get used to the way it controls but its a very worthwhile investment. Highly Recommend this gem!
